Overview of the Role

Be part of Al-Futtaim Automotive in Abu Dhabi as a Workshop Planner, where you play a critical role in ensuring smooth and efficient workshop operations.

In this position, you will act as the link between the front line and the workshop—optimizing productivity, maximizing technician efficiency, and ensuring vehicles are delivered on time. Your ability to plan effectively and coordinate resources will directly impact customer satisfaction and operational success.

What You Will Do

• Allocate jobs to technicians based on skillset to ensure efficient workflow
• Monitor job progress and workshop planning boards to track performance and timelines
• Ensure fair distribution of work to maximize technician productivity and utilization
• Support the “Fix It Right” process to enhance quality and reduce rework
• Track work-in-progress (WIP) and ensure jobs are completed as per schedule
• Maintain accurate time-clocking and escalate any deviations
• Coordinate with Service Advisors to provide progress updates and ensure on-time delivery
