Al-Futtaim Education Foundation is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join our team across Deira International School and Universal American School — two of Dubai’s most highly regarded international schools. The LSA will work under the direction of the class teacher to provide targeted in-class support that enables all learners to access the curriculum, build confidence, and reach their full potential.

Classroom support

• Support the class teacher in delivering engaging, differentiated lessons across all subjects and year groups
• Work with individual students or small groups to reinforce learning objectives and build confidence
• Adapt resources and activities to meet the diverse needs of learners in the classroom
• Assist students with tasks and materials to ensure full participation in lessons

Student wellbeing & pastoral care

• Monitor student wellbeing and promptly communicate concerns to the class teacher 
• Promote a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment for all students
• Support students during transitions, break times, and school activities as required

Planning & assessment support

• Collaborate with teachers to prepare differentiated activities and appropriate learning materials
• Observe and record student progress, feeding back relevant information to the class teacher
• Contribute to student support plan reviews and attend team meetings as required
• Assist with the organisation of classroom resources and learning displays
