Description
The Senior Analyst will play a key role in supporting portfolio management activities, including:
Market & Industry Analysis: Conduct macroeconomic and sector research to identify trends, risks, and opportunitiesPortfolio Company Analysis: Assess business models, strategy, competitive positioning, and KPI performance; prepare regular performance updatesFinancial Modelling & Valuation: Build and maintain financial models, perform valuation and returns analysis, and support strategic decision-makingAsset Management: Monitor portfolio performance, support operational initiatives, and contribute to value creation strategiesTransaction Support: Assist in the execution of acquisitions, divestments, and capital structure initiatives, including financial analysis and documentationReporting: Prepare internal reports, asset reviews, and investment committee materials
Profile
UAE NationalBachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field (Master’s or MBA preferred)1-3 years of relevant experience within private equity, asset management, investment banking, or consultingStrong financial modelling and valuation skills with solid understanding of financial statementsExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skillsHigh attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple prioritiesProfessional qualifications such as CFA or ACCA (preferred)Exposure to Big 4 or leading financial institutions is advantageous
