UAE standardises AED 50 per-day overstay fines and links compliance history to future visa approvals
The UAE has unified visit-, tourist- and residence-visa overstay fines at about AED 50 per day and integrated overstay records into its digital immigration backbones. The reform means even short overstays now leave a compliance trail that can delay or derail future visa and residency applications, pushing companies to tighten internal tracking and clearance processes.
