UAE formalises ‘Work-From-Anywhere’ option for federal entities

A new cabinet resolution, analysed on 30 March, permits UAE federal bodies to hire specialised foreign staff who will work entirely from outside the Emirates. Contracts are annual, salaries are capped at 80 % of on-shore rates and no residency visas are issued. The scheme opens fresh opportunities for global talent-sourcing but raises tax, data and EoR considerations.
