Technician – Power Distribution LV Systems

We are hiring a Technician – Power Distribution to support the maintenance of medium and low voltage emergency power generation and distribution systems across our facilities.

The role involves preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance of MV/LV systems, ensuring safe, reliable operations with minimal disruption to services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain MV/LV systems including transformers, switchgear, RMUs, distribution boards, UPS, and cable networks
• Perform fault diagnosis and troubleshooting of electrical systems
• Carry out planned preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance
• Use electrical test equipment (multimeter, insulation tester, earth loop tester, etc.)
• Interpret electrical drawings and schematics
• Complete CMMS work orders, reports, and documentation
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and promote a Zero Harm culture

Requirements:

• ITI Diploma (Electrical Maintenance or equivalent)
• Minimum 6 years’ experience in MV/LV power distribution systems
• Strong knowledge of electrical maintenance practices and safety procedures (LOTO, isolations)
• Ability to read electrical drawings and use test equipment
