Technical Manager – China State Construction Engrg.Corp LTD(KSA)

1. Core Competencies

• Over 8 years of work experience as a Technical Manager. Address on-site technical issues proactively by liaising with the supervisor/consultant and various specialized subcontractors to ensure swift resolution. Familiar with all standards and specifications in the UAE for building construction, structures, fire protection, and municipal handover. Fully participated in BCC, DCD, TOC, and other inspections/handovers for two or more projects. Capable of independently preparing and organizing inspection documents and plans.
• Experienced in reviewing structural, architectural, and ID (Interior Design) engineering works. After the consultant rejects/returns the engineering works with comments, capable of immediately and proactively coordinating with subcontractors and consultants to quickly resolve issues, ensuring that the resubmission does not exceed two versions.
• Organize technical coordination meetings with the client, consultants, and subcontractors, prepare meeting agendas, and take meeting minutes

2. Technical Monitoring & Control

• Develop department work plans at annual, monthly, and weekly intervals, and monitor and track progress to ensure no delays

3. Coordination

• Interface with Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Commercial teams.
• For all approved engineering works released by the supervisor (such as PQ, materials, shop drawings, method statements, technical submittals, etc.), promptly organize internal technical disclosure meetings with various project departments (including Engineering, Quality, Safety, Commercial, and Materials/Procurement) and conduct internal technical meetings

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 8–15 years of experience in project engineering (construction/engineering environment).
• Proficiency in planning software such as:

Primavera P6,CAD, Revit, and Navisworks,MS Project

• Strong understanding of FIDIC or similar contract frameworks.
• Experience in Hotel, high-rise, or large-scale building projects (preferred).
