Job Opening: Junior / General Accountant

🔶 Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Junior / General Accountant with a minimum of 2+ years of experience to join our finance team. The candidate will handle daily accounting tasks, financial documentation, and ensure accuracy in all transactions. Arabic-speaking applicants are strongly preferred.

🔶 Key Responsibilities

• Record daily financial transactions and maintain accurate ledgers

• Handle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable

• Prepare supplier and customer invoices and follow up on outstanding payments

• Assist with bank reconciliation and petty cash reports

• Support monthly payroll preparation

• Prepare VAT schedules and assist with VAT return filing

• Maintain organized filing of financial and audit documents

• Assist in preparing monthly financial statements and management reports

• Coordinate with auditors for internal and external audits

• Communicate with suppliers, clients, and internal departments for finance-related matters

• Provide administrative and general support to the finance team as required

🔶 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field

• Minimum 2+ years of accounting experience (UAE experience preferred)

• Basic knowledge of UAE VAT rules and accounting principles

• Proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with accounting software

• Strong accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills

• Good communication skills: Arabic speaking preferred

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
