Emirates Warns Dubai Passengers: UK Electronic Travel Authorisation Mandatory From 26 February

From 26 February 2026 everyone flying from Dubai (and elsewhere) to the UK without a visa must hold a pre-approved Electronic Travel Authorisation. Emirates has begun alerting passengers because anyone without an ETA will be denied boarding. The change introduces extra lead time and cost for UAE-based business and leisure travellers but ultimately forms part of the UK’s shift to a fully digital border.
