Assess, diagnose, and manage a wide range of orthopaedic conditions, including musculoskeletal trauma, degenerative joint disease, sports injuries, and soft tissue disorders
Perform orthopaedic surgical and procedural interventions appropriate to scope and credentialing (elective and/or trauma-based, depending on subspecialty)
Manage both outpatient and inpatient orthopaedic services, including pre‑operative assessment, surgical care, post‑operative follow‑up, and rehabilitation planning
Ensure reliable and consistent coverage across OP clinics and IP services, aligned with departmental workflow and on‑call requirements
Develop and implement personalised treatment and care plans in consultation with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Prescribe and interpret diagnostic investigations including imaging, laboratory tests, and other relevant assessments
Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant medical documentation in line with DHA and internal governance standards
Counsel patients on diagnosis, treatment options, operative risks, expected outcomes, and preventive strategies
Participate equitably in on‑call rotas as required
Collaborate with referring physicians, physiotherapists, nursing teams, and allied health professionals to ensure seamless continuity of care
Contribute to clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, CME activities, and departmental development
Support education, mentoring, or supervision of junior medical staff where applicable
