Responsibilities:

1. Create detailed technical drawings and plans based on specifications provided by engineers and architects, utilizing software such as AutoCAD and Revit to ensure accuracy and precision.
2. Collaborate with project managers and site engineers to understand project requirements and incorporate necessary changes into the drafting process, ensuring alignment with project goals.
3. Review and analyze design drawings for compliance with building codes and regulations, making recommendations for improvements or modifications as needed.
4. Prepare and maintain project documentation, including design modifications, specifications, and reports, to ensure clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
5. Assist in the preparation of project bids and proposals by providing accurate drawings and cost estimates, helping the company secure new contracts and projects.
6. Conduct site visits to collect data and take measurements, ensuring that all drawings reflect the actual site conditions and constraints.
7. Coordinate with other disciplines, including structural and MEP engineers, to ensure all aspects of the project are integrated and functioning cohesively.
8. Stay updated on industry trends, software advancements, and best practices in civil drafting to continually enhance skills and contribute to the team’s success.
