UAE air-defence downs two drones, but authorities say commercial flights continue on reduced routes
On 10 May the UAE intercepted two Iranian-origin drones, the latest in a string of attacks that have kept the country’s airspace under heightened security protocols. Flights are still operating but on restricted routes, forcing airlines to schedule longer block times and mobility managers to tighten duty-of-care procedures.
