Head of Vessel Project Management

Location: Office-based (with 2 remote days/week)
Industry: Offshore & Maritime Projects
Estimated Salary: Euros 100K – 120K per annum + Bonus (20% of total salary) + Private Health Insurance + Schooling Allowance

About the Role
Our leading offshore vessel business into the maritime sector are seeking an experienced Head of Vessel Project Management to oversee fleet operations and drive excellence across their global maritime projects. This is a senior leadership role managing a team of circa 10 reports.

You will be responsible for the Vessel Project Department, covering AHTS, PSV, FSIV as well as Crew Boat activities; whilst ensuring the successful completion of vessel project activities safely, on-time, on-budget.

You will manage the P&L for global vessel projects and monitor individual contract performance (financial including; cash objectives, technical, utilisation) through key KPIs and challenging Vessel Project Managers towards the delivery of these objectives.

Key Responsibilities
Lead vessel project management and fleet operations strategy.Oversee contract management and ensure compliance with offshore industry standards.Collaborate with global teams and stakeholders to deliver complex maritime projects.Travel occasionally to vessel locations (Middle East, Africa, and South America).

Ideal profile:

10-15 years’ experience in offshore business (chartering, vessel and fleet management, maritime projects)

Your likely relevant career trajectory to include previous work experience as follows:

Operations Manager, who learned how to manage a fleet of vessels, contract management, offshore industry standardsFleet Director.Chartering ManagementVessel Project DirectorPrevious Managing Director of a smaller maritime, offshore industry company.

Proven track record in fleet management and operations in key.

Strong leadership and interpersonal skills for managing diverse teams.

Sailing experience on board vessels is not required (but can be advantageous).

Education:

Engineering degree (MBA is a plus).

Work Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday, flexible hours (office-based with 2 remote days/week).
