We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Supermarket Branch Supervisor to join our team in Sharjah, UAE. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the retail industry. As a Supermarket Branch Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our supermarket branch, ensuring excellent customer service, managing inventory, and maximizing sales.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise all aspects of the supermarket branch, including staff, inventory, and customer service.
- Train and develop staff to provide excellent customer service and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Monitor and analyze sales and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to increase sales and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure the supermarket is fully stocked with fresh and high-quality products, while minimizing waste and maintaining inventory accuracy.
- Oversee the merchandising and display of products to attract customers and maximize sales.
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness and organization of the supermarket branch, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and escalations, providing prompt and satisfactory resolutions.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as purchasing and marketing, to coordinate promotions, discounts, and special events.
- Prepare and analyze reports on sales, inventory, and other key performance indicators.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitors to identify opportunities and make informed business decisions.
Preferred Candidate:
- Prior experience as a Supermarket Branch Supervisor or similar role in the retail industry.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in using inventory management software and point-of-sale systems.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations in the retail industry.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
