Store Manager – American Eagle – UAE – Alshaya Group

We are looking for a natural leader with the ability to manage the daily operations of the retail store and tasks related to profitability management, staff performance, inventory tracking, marketing and customer service. Dubai Mall Is the Flagship Store for American Eagle in the Middle East so we are looking for a dynamic individual to take American Eagle into the future.

Core Responsibilities:
To collaborate and confidently lead the Operations Team to provide a first-class reputation making use of key initiatives, such as Retail Next, whilst prioritising the basics and being a role model of operations To implement, drive and ensure compliance with Global Retail operational directives, processes, policies and standards within the store back office, proposing ideas and solutions to build a world class Brand Flagship StoreTo support the Operations Manager in delivering a premium operating model for American Eagle within its Brand FlagshipTo drive profitability of the store within the respective area of responsibility by controlling operational expensesMeet core expectations including coaching team leaders to execute processes and ensure efficient movement of product, store equipment and systems are fully functionalTo share best practices across the Retail fleet

Key Responsibilities:

Take full ownership of the store and its commercial success and support Operations Manager in the commercial success of the storeAnalyze relevant data to probe and challenge the status quo within storeAddress identified improvement areas, involving the Operations Manager or other Retail Back Office partners as neededDrive continuous improvements linked to sales, productivity and profitabilityEnsure the legal and financial integrity of the storesLead service by example, maximizing the amount of time spent selling and leading team members on the sales floor while coaching Store leaders to meet the required expectationsTo continuously motivate and inspire the team, while still setting high expectations maintaining a high-performance teamManage team roster to achieve optimum staff coverage to properly serve customers, drive sales and execute tasksBe a Brand Ambassador, consistently exhibiting the Brand Attitude, Values and Core BeliefEnsure proper in-store Brand execution according to established standards and directives in all storesEnsure all team members are trained on Foundational and Seasonal Brand and product knowledge in all storesManage all store operations in a systematic and efficient manner, as per established policies and procedures in all storesEnsure all established Visual Merchandising and In-Store Communication standards are consistently executed and maintainedEnsure merchandise deliveries are processed on the same day they arrive, and entire product offer is made immediately available and easily accessible to customers on a consistent basisLead and implement all applicable loss prevention policies and proceduresMaintain a safe and productive shopping and working environmentEnsure all HR policies and procedures are adhered toCreate a high-performance culture by setting clear expectations, analysing performance and giving appropriate and prompt feedback, including actively managing poor performance Work with the Operations Manager to identify and develop select strong performers with potential for growth along the Retail Field Career LadderSeek coaching and learning opportunities to continually improve your performanceMaintain a feedback culture among the team for continuous inclusion and operating rhythm improvement
