Store Keeper – BUTEC S.A.L.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  1. Check on material received quantities and specifications against order documents and coordinate internally for needed technical assistance to ensure the conformity of materials at reception.
  2. Ensure a proper handling of non-conforming items as per the relevant procedure and inform supervisor for uncommon or complex corrective measures. 
  3. Ensure a proper identification and traceability of items from reception till dispatching and recall (if applicable) to avoid losses or shrinkages.
  4. Supervise the storage of materials in assigned storage areas and provide assistance to subordinates to ensure good operating practices.
  5. Ensure compliance with applicable policies and procedures (including OH&S) to avoid loss/deterioration/shrinkage of products/materials and prevent occupational hazards.
  6. Coordinate with requester regarding the items reception, dispatching and recall to provide the right product on time.
  7. Monitor the stock level and reorder frequently consumed items when needed to maintain minimum stock level.
  8. Enter all warehouse transactions on BIS and reconcile the info with the physical inventory to have accurate information about the stock inventory status.
  9. Investigate any losses or shrinkages and take appropriate measure to avoid redundancies.
  10. Fill logs, maintain records of daily activities and submit all necessary information to supervisor for cost control purposes.
  11. Takes advantage of on-the-job training opportunities to increase capability and skill level.
