Senior Contracts Officer – Khidmah LLC

Purpose of the Position:

To assist Commercial Department in maintaining all current contracts. To develop and maintain registers for the tracking of financial penalties, contract renewals, and contract variations. To be accountable for planning, coordinating and controlling all FM contractual aspects.

 

Key Responsibilities/ Accountabilities:

 

– Act as the focal point for reviewing all the contractual T’s & C’s pre and post award 

– Act as an advisor to the operations team in case of variations, claims, disputes and any other contractual obligations

– Develop and maintain an up to date comprehensive contracts register 

– Review contracts and change orders/addenda for completeness and proper signature

– Support the operation team in drafting external contractual letters

–  Develop and maintain tracker for contracts renewal and expiry dates and follow up closely with the concerned personnel in Business Development and/or Operation in line with the contractual clauses

– Provide technical assistance and direction regarding contract compliance

– Liaise with Finance to follow up on the project’s outstanding balance

– Perform various administrative tasks for Commercial Department (Prepare correspondences, memos, reports, presentations)

– Liaise with the client concerning any deviation, penalties or any related contractual issues

– Develop and maintain tracker for monthly penalties for all existing contracts

– Follow up with site teams in order to obtain billing details before month closing

– Develop, monitor and manage up to date risk registers related to the contractual/commercial issues
