1. Azure Infrastructure Design and Architecture:

Design and architect Azure infrastructure solutions to meet the organization’s technical and business requirements.

Create scalable and highly available Azure architectures.

Select and configure appropriate Azure services and components.

2. Implementation and Deployment:

Deploy and manage Azure resources, including virtual machines, databases, networking, and storage.

Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates or Terraform.

Automate deployment processes and ensure infrastructure is versioned and easily reproducible.

3. Security and Compliance:

Implement and enforce security best practices and compliance standards in Azure environments.

Configure and manage Azure security services like Azure Security Center and Azure Policy.

Monitor and respond to security threats and incidents.

4. Networking:

Design and configure Azure Virtual Networks (VNets) and subnets.

Set up and manage VPNs, ExpressRoute, and network security groups.

Implement load balancers and traffic routing solutions.

5. Identity and Access Management:

Manage Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) and implement identity and access management solutions.

Configure Single Sign-On (SSO) and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).

Ensure proper access controls and permissions for Azure resources.

6. Monitoring and Troubleshooting:

Implement monitoring and logging solutions using Azure Monitor, Azure Log Analytics, and Application Insights.

Troubleshoot and resolve Azure-related issues, including performance bottlenecks and connectivity problems.

7. Backup and Disaster Recovery:

Plan and implement backup and disaster recovery solutions using Azure Backup and Azure Site Recovery.

Ensure data and application availability in case of failures.

8. Cost Management:

Optimize Azure resource usage to control costs and maximize efficiency.

Implement cost management tools and practices.

9. Collaboration and Documentation:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, system administrators, and other engineers.

Document Azure architectures, configurations, and best practices.

Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members.

10. Continuous Improvement:

Stay up-to-date with Azure services and technologies, as well as industry best practices.

Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.

11. Project Management:

Manage Azure-related projects, including planning, execution, and resource allocation.

Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

12. Customer Support:

Provide technical support to customers or internal teams, addressing Azure-related inquiries and issues.
