The Sales Engineer for MV Switchgear and Capacitor Bank is pivotal in the Electric Power Production and Transmission industry. Responsibilities:
- Lead Sales and Marketing activity to achieve sales targets and ensure annual sales growth.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key clients in the electric power sector.
- Conduct technical presentations and product demonstrations to showcase MV switchgear and capacitor bank solutions.
- Prepare and deliver proposals and quotations tailored to customer requirements.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure product specifications meet client needs.
- Provide after-sales support and address any technical issues that arise post-installation.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
- Attend industry conferences and trade shows to promote products and network with potential clients.
- Assist in the development of marketing strategies to enhance product visibility.
Preferred Candidate:
- Strong technical background in MV Switchgear and Capacitor Bank.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven track record in sales, particularly in TRANSCO, AADC, ADDC, EWA, DEWA and SEWA.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel for client meetings and site visits.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
- Ability to understand and interpret technical specifications and drawings.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
