Sales Consultant – Linde Material Handling | Al-Futtaim Automotive | FAMCO | Dubai – Al Futtaim Group

Overview of the role

We are looking for a Sales Consultant to join our Linde Material Handling team in Dubai. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, building long-term customer relationships, and identifying opportunities to expand our material handling equipment business.

You will work closely with customers to understand their operational requirements, provide suitable solutions, and support the achievement of monthly and annual sales targets. Success in this role requires strong customer engagement skills, commercial awareness, and the ability to manage the sales process from prospecting through to closing and documentation.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain an active customer database to support relationship management, business development activities, and sales campaigns.
• Conduct regular customer visits to understand operational requirements and identify sales opportunities.
• Achieve or exceed agreed monthly and annual sales targets while supporting branch profitability objectives.
• Present suitable material handling equipment solutions that meet customer requirements and business needs.
• Maintain high levels of customer service and ensure customer expectations are consistently met.
• Participate in product training, sales meetings, and development programmes to maintain product and market knowledge.
• Monitor competitor activities and market trends and share insights with management to support business planning.
• Prepare and maintain accurate sales documentation and deal files in line with company procedures.
• Support effective credit management by maintaining customer accounts within agreed overdue limits.
• Ensure timely and accurate submission of required sales and customer reporting information.
