- Plan, schedule and lead field survey crews on road, highway, bridge, utility and other infrastructure projects
- Conduct topographic surveys, boundary surveys, construction staking, as-built surveys, and other surveying tasks
- Analyze survey data, make calculations, and develop detailed maps, drawings and reports
- Ensure surveys comply with project plans, specifications, and all applicable laws/regulations
- Coordinate with engineers, architects, contractors and government agencies
- Implement quality control procedures to ensure accuracy of survey work
- Train and mentor junior surveying staff
- Prepare cost estimates and proposals for survey work
- Utilize surveying software like AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microstation, etc.
