An experienced procurement leader is required to develop and standardise procurement strategy across a complex multi-entity organisation. The role will drive sourcing excellence, supplier governance, cost optimisation, compliance, and procurement transformation while partnering with senior stakeholders across the business.

Description
Develop and implement a group-wide procurement strategy aligned with business objectives.Establish procurement policies, procedures, governance frameworks, and approval processes.Lead strategic sourcing initiatives across direct and indirect spend categories.Drive supplier consolidation to maximise group purchasing leverage.Oversee major tenders, RFQs, sourcing strategies, and contract negotiations.Establish supplier evaluation, performance management, and risk assessment frameworks.Deliver cost-saving, value engineering, and procurement efficiency initiatives.Ensure compliance with governance, audit, regulatory, and ethical standards.Lead procurement process standardisation through ERP and procurement systems.Provide leadership, coaching, and functional direction to procurement teams.
Profile
A successful Head of Procurement UAEN should have:
UAE National ONLYBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business Administration, or a related discipline.MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification advantageous.Professional certification such as CIPS preferred.Minimum 12-15 years of progressive procurement or supply chain experience.Proven senior procurement leadership experience within large, multi-entity organisations.Strong expertise in strategic sourcing, category management, and supplier governance.Demonstrated success in high-value contract negotiations and supplier consolidation.Experience working with ERP and procurement systems such as SAP or equivalent.Exposure to manufacturing, FMCG, food production, agriculture, or industrial sectors preferred.Experience operating within structured governance, audit, and approval frameworks.
