This is one of those rare Dubai architecture leadership roles that doesn’t come around often.

We’ve been exclusively retained to appoint a Head of Enterprise Architecture for a leading, tech-focused organisation in Dubai. This is a replacement hire for a highly respected leader who’s spent the last 3 years scaling the function and putting serious foundations in place so you’re stepping into a team that’s already moving, with executive backing, budget, and momentum.

If you’re the kind of EA leader who can set the direction, simplify complexity, and make architecture “real” across product, platforms, data, and security.

We want someone who can simplify complexity, communicate clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders, and create real adoption reference architectures, principles, and decision frameworks that teams actually use. Experience driving transformation (cloud migration, legacy modernisation, platform consolidation, operating model change) and measuring outcomes through tangible business value is a big plus. this is built for you.

• High-impact seat: you’ll own the enterprise architecture agenda end-to-end, not just “governance on paper”
• Established runway: the team has been scaled and shaped — now it’s about levelling up, modernising, and accelerating
• Real influence: direct engagement with senior stakeholders, shaping investment decisions and delivery priorities
• Dubai-based, regional scale: complex environment, meaningful transformation, and visibility

What you’ll be doing

• Define and drive the enterprise architecture strategy aligned to business growth and tech roadmap
• Lead and develop a high-performing EA capability (people, standards, operating model)
• Own architecture governance while keeping delivery fast and pragmatic
• Partner with product, engineering, data, infrastructure and security leaders to enable scalable platforms
• Translate business priorities into target-state architecture, roadmaps, and measurable outcomes
• Guide key technology decisions: cloud, integration, data, platforms, and modern architecture patterns

What they’re looking for (high level)

• Proven enterprise architecture leadership in a large-scale, modern tech environment
• Strong stakeholder management at C-level / exec committee level
• Track record of building/leading architecture teams and influencing delivery across multiple domains
• Deep understanding of modern architecture (cloud, integration, data, security-by-design, platforms)
• Pragmatic operator: can balance governance with speed, and strategy with execution
