The Food Production Supervisor plays a crucial role in the manufacturing process within the pet food industry. This position is responsible for overseeing the daily manufacturing of food production, ensuring that all products meet quality standards and are produced efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food production and management, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining a safe and productive work environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Supervise and coordinate daily food production activities to ensure timely delivery of products.
2. Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with quality standards and safety regulations.
3. Train and mentor production staff to enhance their skills and improve overall team performance.
4. Conduct regular inspections of equipment and work areas to maintain a clean and safe production environment.
5. Collaborate with the operations manager and senior management, to streamline operations.
6. Implement and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for food production.
7. Manage the accurate collection of production data to identify areas for improvement and optimize processes.
8. Assist in inventory management and ordering of raw materials as needed.
9. Prepare and maintain production reports for management review.
10. Address and resolve any production issues or employee concerns promptly.
