Electric Engineer – CITIC Middle East Contracting L.L.C

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Electrical Engineer to oversee on-site electrical installation activities and ensure compliance with project specifications and approved designs. The ideal candidate will be responsible for daily supervision, coordination with other disciplines, and technical liaison with consultants to deliver high-quality electrical systems within schedule and budget.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Supervise daily electrical installation activities on site, ensuring all work is executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and relevant standards.
2. Coordinate closely with other trades (e.g., mechanical, plumbing, structural) to ensure smooth integration of electrical systems and avoid conflicts.
3. Attend site inspections with consultants and authorities, prepare necessary documentation, and ensure compliance with local regulations and project requirements.
4. Review electrical designs, drawings, and technical submittals for accuracy and feasibility.
5. Monitor progress, prepare daily/weekly reports, and ensure adherence to project timelines and safety protocols.
6. Troubleshoot technical issues on site and propose practical solutions in collaboration with the design and construction teams.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Major: Electrical Engineering or equivalent discipline.
• Work Experience: Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience in electrical installation, supervision, and coordination, preferably within the UAE construction industry.
