Description
Conclude long- and short-term freight contracts on voyage and time-charter basis for bulk commodities.Manage post-fixture operations of vessels and ensure smooth execution of shipments.Plan and monitor maritime shipment performance and oversee financial documentation and payment settlements.Negotiate shipping terms and conditions with buyers, ports, and suppliers.Prepare cost estimates and reports for financial planning on monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.Maintain and expand stakeholder networks across the logistics chain to support commodity sales.Provide guidance to laytime team on contractual terms and calculations
Profile
Minimum 3 years of commercial experience in the shipping industry; Panamax sector exposure is a plus.Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with shipping software; experience with Veson-IMOS is advantageous.
