Responsibilities:
- Present menu, offer recommendations and provide detailed information when asked (e.g., about portions, ingredients, or potential food allergies).
- Prepare tables by setting up linens, silverware, and glasses.
- Inform customers about the day’s specials and up-sell additional products.
- Take accurate food and drink orders, using POS ordering software, order slips, or memorization.
- Deliver checks and collect bill payments.
- Keep tables tidy and at all times and carry dirty wares to the kitchen for cleaning.
- Adhere to relevant health department rules/regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service to guests.
