Description
In this role, you will lead and oversee the full accounting function within a fast-paced marine organization. You will ensure financial accuracy, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency while building structured systems that support sustainable growth.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the accounting team, ensuring performance, accountability, and cohesion
- Establish and enforce clear financial processes and internal controls
- Oversee daily financial transactions, approvals, and payments in line with company policy
- Prepare and present detailed financial and annual reports to senior management (CEO/MD)
- Manage relationships with UAE banks, including documentation for loans and financial facilities
- Implement and optimize accounting systems and financial technologies
- Ensure all financial records are organized, audit-ready, and fully compliant
- Provide strategic financial insights and recommend cost optimization initiatives
- Serve as the main point of contact for all accounting-related matters
