Role Overview
Purpose:
To ensure the attraction(s) is operated with utmost attention to safety and exemplary presentation standards, delivering a safe, efficient and memorable experience for all guests.
Communications:
Internal
- Attractions Management Team, Attractions Crew and Operations Senior Management
- Maintenance, Health & Safety, Guest Services and Security teams
External
- Guests and visitors to the park
- DPR Management
Main Duties:
- Validate that the attraction has passed the Maintenance Daily Check.
- Execute the pre-opening checklist.
- Maintain cleanliness and good order in the attraction area.
- Welcome guests and provide the safety information and any extra information they may request.
- Complete the guest load/unload process.
- Manage the grouping for the ride in relation to normal, single riders, Q Fast and VIP Q line guests.
- Check the compliance of all safety regulations before running the attraction.
- Participate as needed in the pre-show of the attraction.
- Provide the first level response to guest complaints or escalate to the Team Leader.
- Escalate to Team Leader / Ops Base any potential malfunction in the attraction.
- Participate in the evacuation process in the assigned role.
- Close the attraction in a safe mode as per the operating standards.
- Replace the Team Leader temporarily when required and as assigned by the Supervisor.
- Monitor the consumables (3D glasses) and maintain an inventory for the same.
- Adhere to the park / attraction code of conduct, grooming and uniform standards.
HSE Responsibilities

- Practise due diligence through assessment and review so that all risks and hazards are controlled and maintained at an acceptable level for any modification, new process, machine or new person engaged in the business.
- Commit to safe systems of work by adhering to the agreed processes set out in the approved manuals, policies, procedures and SOPs, and avoid short cuts.
- Take ownership of one’s own health and safety for matters within one’s control or ability to influence, leading by example and ensuring the same for others within one’s responsibility, including contractors.
- Adhere to the laws, regulations, applicable standards and guidelines imposed by the governing authorities, including maintaining valid licences, permits, certificates, medical clearances, training and qualifications required for the role.
- Follow strictly the rules and regulations set by the company to protect the lives and welfare of persons involved in its business processes, including the protection of property and environment.
- Prevent accidents / incidents by promptly reporting hazards, risks, unsafe acts and unsafe conditions, and escalating issues and concerns to immediate superiors or persons in authority.
- Report, investigate, cooperate and resolve incidents involving oneself and persons within one’s control and influence, timely and accurately.
- Contribute to a healthy, illness-free workplace by observing proper personal hygiene, a high standard of cleanliness and consistent housekeeping.
- Report sickness / illness affecting oneself or any team member, including unsanitary or unhygienic conditions that may affect performance, safety and welfare, or that may spread to or inconvenience others and guests.
- Participate in company activities aimed at improving emergency readiness, health, safety and environment awareness and enhancing employee welfare.

- Achievement of 100% CBI certification, with refresher training completed prior to certification and renewal dates.

Role Specifications
Qualifications:
Essential
High School Certificate.
Desirable
- Diploma or College degree.
- Safety skills training and certification.
- IAAPA certification.
Experience:
Essential
- 1 year previous experience in the service / entertainment / hospitality industry.
- Experience of working with multi-cultural teams.
Desirable
- Previous experience in amusement and theme parks.
- Previous experience in the UAE / GCC.
Skills:
Essential
- Fluent in English.
- Excellent guest and employee service skills.
- Confident, proactive and fun loving.
- Ability to handle and interact with children.

Availability:
Required to work on a rotating shift basis, including early mornings, late evenings, weekends and public holidays, in line with operational requirements and the UAE Labour Law.
