Senior OutSystems Developer – Harjai Computers

Key Responsibilities

Application Development

•       Architect, design, and develop complex enterprise applications using the OutSystems platform (O11 and/or ODC).

•       Build responsive web and mobile applications following OutSystems best practices and design patterns.

•       Translate business requirements into robust, scalable technical solutions.

•       Develop and maintain reusable components, modules, and integrations in Forge or internal libraries.

Integration & APIs

•       Integrate OutSystems applications with third-party systems via REST, SOAP, and SAP connectors.

•       Design and expose APIs consumed by external systems and mobile applications.

•       Work with middleware platforms (e.g., MuleSoft, Oracle Integration Cloud) where applicable.

Technical Leadership

•       Conduct code reviews and enforce coding standards, architecture governance, and OutSystems AI Mentor guidelines.

•       Mentor junior and mid-level developers, providing technical guidance and knowledge transfer.

•       Lead technical design sessions and produce architecture documents, data models, and flow diagrams.

•       Participate in sprint planning, estimation, and Agile ceremonies as a technical SME.

Quality & DevOps

•       Implement unit testing, automated testing strategies, and CI/CD pipelines using LifeTime and relevant tooling.

•       Manage deployments across Development, QA, UAT, and Production environments.

•       Monitor application performance and proactively identify and resolve bottlenecks.

Required Qualifications

•       Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; equivalent experience accepted.

•       Prior experience on the IID (Invest in Dubai) project will be given preference and priority during the candidate evaluation and selection process.

•       5+ years of professional software development experience, with at least 3 years focused on the OutSystems platform.

•       OutSystems Associate or Professional Developer certification (required); Architect certification is a strong plus.

•       Strong proficiency in OutSystems Service Studio, Integration Studio, and LifeTime.

•       Hands-on experience with OutSystems 11 (O11); experience with OutSystems Developer Cloud (ODC) is highly desirable.

•       Solid understanding of relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL) and data modeling.

•       Experience with REST/SOAP API development, JSON, and XML.

•       Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.

•       Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

•       OutSystems Architect certification.

•       Experience with OutSystems Forge component development and contribution.

•       Knowledge of front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and React or Angular.

•       Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or OCI).

•       Experience with enterprise ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle Fusion, or Microsoft Dynamics.

•       Background in mobile application development using OutSystems Mobile or ODC.

•       Experience in regulated industries (banking, healthcare, government) is a plus.
