Licensing Head – Jigsaw HR Consultants

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Licensing Head to lead and manage all licensing, company formation, and regulatory compliance activities for our clients across the UAE. The ideal candidate will have strong experience working with UAE government authorities, free zones, and mainland licensing bodies, along with a deep understanding of business setup regulations. The successful candidate will be responsible for navigating complex licensing requirements, providing strategic advisory to clients, and overseeing end-to-end company formation and licensing processes while ensuring full regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end licensing processes including company formation, renewals, amendments, restructuring, and closures.

• Advise clients on suitable business setup structures across UAE mainland and free zones based on their business activities and objectives.

• Manage all licensing applications, approvals, renewals, amendments, liquidations, and cancellations.

• Liaise with government authorities, regulatory bodies, and free zone authorities to ensure smooth execution of licensing requirements.

• Navigate complex licensing and regulatory issues and provide practical, compliant solutions to clients.

• Ensure all licensing activities comply with UAE laws, regulations, and authority-specific requirements.

• Oversee documentation, submissions, and approvals with high accuracy and efficiency.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with government entities and strategic stakeholders.

• Stay updated on changes in UAE licensing regulations, company formation policies, and compliance frameworks.

• Lead, mentor, and develop the licensing team to ensure operational excellence.

• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless client onboarding and setup experience.

• Support business development activities by providing technical expertise during client consultations.
