Overview of the Role
FAMCO is seeking a motivated and technically competent Sales Consultant to drive the growth of our Ingersoll Rand ARO pumps business across the United Arab Emirates. This role focuses on the sales of air-operated diaphragm pumps and piston pumps, developing new business opportunities, managing key customer accounts, and expanding market share within strategic industries including Oil and Gas, Chemicals, Food and Beverage, and Industrial Manufacturing.
The successful candidate will combine strong technical expertise with commercial acumen to deliver sustainable sales growth, maintain profitability, and build long-term customer relationships.
What You Will Do
Sales Growth and Business Development
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets for air-operated diaphragm pumps and piston pumps.
- Develop and maintain a healthy sales pipeline to ensure consistent business growth.
- Identify and secure new customer accounts across targeted industries.
- Promote product solutions and value propositions to increase market penetration and revenue.
Key Account Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for key customers within the assigned territory.
- Build strong relationships with customers at operational, technical, and management levels.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention through exceptional service and support.
- Generate repeat business opportunities and long-term partnerships.
Commercial and Technical Sales Support
- Prepare and present technical and commercial proposals tailored to customer requirements.
- Conduct regular customer visits, product presentations, and solution discussions.
- Negotiate contracts and commercial terms while maintaining target profit margins.
- Follow up on quotations and opportunities to maximize conversion rates.
Market Intelligence and Industry Awareness
- Monitor market trends, customer requirements, and competitor activities.
- Stay informed about industry regulations, standards, and best practices, particularly within the Oil and Gas sector.
- Share market insights and business opportunities with internal stakeholders.
Operational Excellence
- Ensure all sales activities comply with company policies and procedures.
- Work closely with Finance to monitor and minimize outstanding customer payments.
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts, reports, and customer records.
