Job Summary
We are looking for a reliable and experienced Storekeeper to manage all warehouse operations, including inventory control, inbound and outbound activities, and proper handling of perishable goods. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in foodstuff or FMCG environments, especially with cold storage management.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage overall store and warehouse operations efficiently
- Handle inbound and outbound shipments (receiving & dispatch)
- Prepare and maintain GRN (Goods Receipt Notes) for local and international shipments
- Verify, record, and manage supplier invoices and documentation
- Monitor and control stock levels (normal and cold storage)
- Ensure proper storage of vegetables and foodstuff following FIFO/FEFO principles
- Maintain accurate inventory records in systems or manual logs
- Control and minimize damages, wastage, and stock discrepancies
- Coordinate with procurement, sales, and logistics teams
- Conduct regular stock checks and support inventory audits
- Ensure warehouse cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards
- Monitor temperature-controlled storage areas (cold rooms/freezers)
- Supervise loading, unloading, and proper handling of goods
Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in storekeeping or warehouse management (preferably foodstuff/vegetables/FMCG)
- Strong knowledge of inventory control and warehouse operations
- Experience with GRN, invoices, and documentation
- Familiarity with cold storage handling
- Basic computer skills (MS Office / inventory systems)
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Active, responsible, and able to handle physical work
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
