This role is designed for an experienced accounting professional who will manage the full financial operations across multiple entities. Based in Abu Dhabi, the position is responsible for delivering accurate reporting, ensuring compliance across several jurisdictions, and supporting leadership with key financial insights.

Our client is a well-established international organisation operating across multiple sectors, including trade and investments. With entities registered in different global jurisdictions, the business manages diverse commercial activities and requires strong financial governance to support its operations.
Description
· Maintain complete and accurate books of accounts for several group entities while adhering to relevant accounting standards.
· Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
· Manage day-to-day accounting functions including payables, receivables, bank reconciliations, and general ledger entries.
· Lead coordination of annual external audits with audit firms in both the UAE and Singapore.
· Oversee compliance with VAT, tax submissions, and statutory reporting across all relevant jurisdictions.
· Support senior management by producing financial analysis, budgeting input, and cash flow forecasting.
· Act as the main point of contact for banks, regulatory bodies, and free zone authorities.
· Review and strengthen internal controls, ensuring effective accounting systems and processes are operating across all entities.
· Monitor intercompany transactions and ensure timely reconciliations.
· Assist with any ad‑hoc financial projects required by leadership.
Profile
· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline, with a strong preference for candidates holding ACCA, CPA, CA, or equivalent certifications.
· Minimum of 4 years of experience in a relevant accounting role, ideally within sectors such as shipping, oil trading, or international corporate structures.
· Practical understanding of ADGM and Singapore ACRA regulatory requirements is considered an advantage.
· Strong command of IFRS and familiarity with UAE VAT compliance.
· Prior experience managing or assisting with annual financial audits.
· Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, or comparable systems.
· Strong analytical skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple legal entities simultaneously.
· Regional experience within the Middle East would be essential
