ARCHITECTS (DESIGN TEAM) – JAMES CUBITT MIDDLE EAST & NORTH AFRICA LTD

James Cubitt MENA is looking for talented and experienced Architects to join our Architectural Design

Team in Abu Dhabi.

We are seeking accomplished architectural professionals with strong design capabilities, technical

expertise, and proven experience in delivering complex architectural projects. Candidates with previous

experience in well-established engineering consultancy firms in the UAE will be preferred.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum 8+ years of professional experience in architectural design.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture.

• Previous experience working with engineering consultancy firms in the UAE is preferred.

• Mandatory proficiency in Revit Architecture and strong working knowledge of AutoCAD.

• Proven experience in designing high-rise buildings, mixed-use developments, and large-scale

commercial projects.

• Strong knowledge of architectural design principles, building planning, and technical

documentation.

• Good understanding of UAE building codes, regulations, and authority approval procedures.

• Experience in coordinating with structural, MEP, and other multidisciplinary design teams.

• Must be currently based in the UAE.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and contribute to architectural design development from concept design through detailed

design and construction documentation.

• Develop architectural layouts, plans, elevations, sections, and detailed drawings in accordance

with project requirements.

• Prepare and manage BIM models using Revit Architecture.

• Ensure design solutions comply with project briefs, applicable UAE regulations, building codes,

and authority requirements.

• Coordinate architectural designs with structural, MEP, and other engineering disciplines to

ensure seamless integration.

• Review design drawings, specifications, and technical submissions for accuracy and

completeness.

• Participate in design reviews, technical meetings, and coordination workshops.

• Provide technical guidance and support to junior architects and design team members.

• Coordinate with project managers, clients, consultants, and relevant stakeholders throughout

the design process.

• Identify design conflicts and technical challenges and propose effective solutions.

• Ensure timely delivery of design packages while maintaining quality and project standards.
