On behalf of our client, we are seeking an experienced Accountant / Senior Accountant. This role requires a highly qualified professional with strong technical expertise, a hands-on approach, and the ability to manage the full spectrum of accounting responsibilities under both international and UAE standards.
Role overview:
Manage the full accounting cycle, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, fixed assets, accruals, provisions, and closing activities.
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS and UAE regulations.
Ensure adherence to local (UAE) and international accounting standards, tax, and compliance requirements.
Conduct cash flow management, budgeting, and forecasting to support business operations and decision-making
Supervise audits and liaise with external auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities
Implement and enhance internal controls, policies, and financial procedures
Provide financial analysis and reports to management for strategic planning.
